	The Cantera Bar can be found along the main road between Calafell and Bellvei in the Baix Penedes region of Catalunya. Before its renovation the areas was once an old quarry. It still retains the white stone cliff sides but the ground has been planted with grass and trees and the result is a place of natural beauty where you can enjoy the quiet country atmosphere. Because of this relaxing environment The Cantera is much more than a bar. It is a place to meet friends to relax on the terrace while enjoying a drink and tasting the typical cold meats, cured hams or different types of salami from the town of Olot in the north of Catalunya. It is a place for the whole family. Being both fenced in and away from the main road it is ideal for children to play freely or in the specially designed park near the terrace. There is also a barbecue area with tables to rent out for a small fee, buy charcoal and cook whatever you fancy on one of our barbecues. We are open every day of the year. The summer season runs from June to September. During these months the Cantera is open from 6pm until 5am and weekends from 9am until 5am. For the rest of the year the bar opens from 9am until 5am. We are sure your experience will be one to remember and once visited The Cantera will be a place to return to again and again-with or without your bike!
