It grand opening of The Cantera took place in the 8th of June 2002. It
was organised by Harley Davidson Catalunya and attended by over 500 people
including the Mayor of Bellvei who came along to offer his support. |

The event was attended by over 3000 people and over 1,200 bikes. Because
of the new road this year the site was split in two. The main convention;
the stage, beer and food tents and stalls selling all kinds of biker merchandising
were all on one side of the road while the new area around The Cantera
became a temporary campsite for those who’s come from afar. |

cantera became Nashville, it feel as we were in a different country all
